I have just realized that my site is in dire need of some attention, but I'm stuck as to how to add everything that it needs. I shall have to ponder on it some more - right now, I'm unsure if I want to take the time to add all of the leather journals (especially the Steampunk ones) I've been making (listed on Etsy) to my site, or if I should instead focus on getting all of the corsetry and clothing I have been creating up there.
You see, do I add each of the journals individually for their own little piece of the gallery, or do I clump them together and only have two or three entries in the category? And then, how do I group them? There really is next to no rhyme or reason how I go about creating them - perhaps by color?
No matter what, however, I really need to give my web site some love - my last "official" update to the gallery was well over a year ago, and so much more has been created that I should really get up there. Steampunk clothing, corsetry, leather masks, other leatherworks (perhaps I could have a category of "leather accessories?") and so much more! I'm overwhelmed!

Revising Prices
Well, first off, for those who are nosy, the camp went wonderfully. Significantly better than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise! The girls in the class were wonderful, and came up with some utterly amazing ideas - I hope they keep with sewing, they all had such great ideas and designs! I'll post some pictures when I get a free moment, both here and on my DeviantART page, but right now, there is too much going on to spend time doing something like that, unfortunately...
This weekend, I'm setting a goal of having most of my price list revised. The new version of the site that I've been working like crazy on will indeed show an estimated price to have a costume custom made, since I'm always surprised when I look at other commissioners, or Chinese manufacturers of crap cosplay, that my prices are very competitive. I always tend to think that I would be wayyyy more expensive, but that's turning out to not be the case! So, hooray for that!

Web Site Redesign (again)
So, it has been around a year and a half to two years since I redesigned my site : TaeliacStudio.com
I still like how it looks, and the functionality I've been slowly adding over time has really, really made it very useful, I just think it's time for a bit of a change-up. I seem to get bored with things if they stay the same for too long.
The funny thing is, my older incarnations of the site (for the very few that remember them!) were in blues and pinks and purples, and, surprise surprise, I'm heading back into blues! I guess one cannot deny their true nature for too long~
This is just the mock up of the site, done in Photoshop - the coding is going to be a slower thing to do, because so much of the backend code needs to be tweaked. While I may love writing code (it was going to be my job, or so I thought for a very long time, until sewing reared it's ugly head and took over my life), my skills are not as "clean" as they should be. I have quite a few backend PHP weird code things going on, mostly to support Internet Explorer (as it seems some people still like to use it *dies*).
However, it's going to happen slowly, but the main site should still be up and running while this is being built, which is always a great thing, right?
In the future, the site is going to have pricing information on costumes on it (le gasp! I know!) and perhaps more accurate booking and scheduling information, too. We'll see as it happens!
